* Metzeler Tourance tyres were purchased to give optimal balance between dirt, highway and suburban road surfaces for a planned trip to outback WA which never eventuated, so to date have been used 99% on-road in Victoria. Front tyre has travelled approximately 2,000 kms.Â
Rear tyre has travelled only 800 kms after the previous rear tyre punctured on a roofing screw when it had covered just over 1,000 kms. That hurt!
The bike was serviced at 42,900 kms by BMW Southbank; who confirmed that any applicable recall notices had already been dealt with.
